The Ideal Opening Number
The ideal pantomime opening number is upbeat, engaging and has lyrics which help to set the scene or introduce your characters. Often the opening number is a full-scale production set piece, involving most of the company. Here are our suggestions for ten top-tier opening numbers to kick start your production.

Morning Person – Shrek the Musical. A great number for a morning village scene, this one works well for a lead character solo such as Cinderella or Beauty.
