The Top Panto Friendship Songs

A song about friendship and camaraderie makes the perfect interlude for your pantomime. These

songs work well a duet, which could build into a bigger company number. Here are our suggestions for a fabulous friendship number.

  • ABC – The Jackson 5. Although this upbeat number is known more as a romantic song, you don’t need to change many lyrics to turn it into a great song for two friends which will get your audience’s toes tapping.

  • Together wherever we go – Gypsy (musical). A great bright number with interjecting lines for a duo or trio of friends.

  • Friendship – Anything Goes. Another upbeat duet for a pair of good friends.

  • Someday – The Wedding Singer. This one is perfect for a ‘hopeless romantic’ who is looking for love, but would also work well for princess who wants to marry for love.

  • Right in front of your Eyes – The Wedding Singer. Someone realises that their true love has been beside them all along.

  • Together we’ll Be OK – Cannon and Ball. A perfect duet for a pair of pals, also a useful number for cheering someone up!

  • I Got You – Bring It On (musical). This duet needs some lyric changes but is well suited to the classic panto friendship number.

  • I Promise You – Peter Rabbit (movie). Although this one has an element of romance, a few small lyric changes makes this one perfect for a little-and-large duo.
